"My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139: 15-16
Early this morning one of my friends niece's, Ansley, was taken to heaven. Her story is really a remarkable story, one of true faith. Anley's mothers' water broke when she was 29 weeks pregnant and out of the country on a last romantic get-away before the birth of her first child. After being able to give her daughter 2 more weeks in her tummy Ansley made her debut on June 19, 2007. The doctors quickly realized that there were several problems and she spent her first few months of life in Atlanta Children's Hospital. Her parents found a doctor in Mexico that gave them some hope for Ansley. She was one of the first children to receive stem cells from a placenta. She seemed to improve with the transplant and her days consisted of physical therapy and lots of holding from various family members and friends. This last week she was in the hospital with a virus. Her doctors feared that she would not recover from this, but in true Ansley style she did. She was able to come home yesterday morning and spend her last night with both of her parents and grandparents close by. God gave them a true grace as she passed away sleeping her in Mama's arms early this morning. Please keep these dear sweet parents in your prayers.
