Each year New Years Eve is bittersweet for me. I am not a big fan of change, and I actually have never had a year that I was ready see end. But this year, I was ready to see end. This has been a big year of change for our family. We have been remodeling our "new" old house, my baby started pre-school, my Grandy passed away, and I have been ill pretty much since the end of September. So much of this year has been living in limbo because of our house situation. At times it feels as if we are living between 2 homes. Through all of this I have not spent much time with Him. So many times I have started to spend time with my bible, only to be torn away with other duties, or to actually fall asleep before I have even had a chance to begin. We have had friendships that have really changed this year as our children have grown older and their activities have changed. We have also been blessed by having old friendships restored.
In 2011 we are going to be moving into our "new" old house and making it a home, celebrating our children, hopefully finding a diagnosis for my health issues, and spending more time with Him. But first and foremost I am praising Him and putting Him back in the lead. I can not wait for the winds of change in 2011!!
